2009 Niagara Visitor’s Guides Released for Travelers to Niagara Falls & Surrounding Region
Three New Visitors’ Guides Offer Everything from Niagara Attractions and Restaurants to Cycling Maps and Wine Tours in English & French
Visitors making the Niagara Region -- from Niagara Falls to Niagara-on-the-Lake -- their destination of choice this year will want to order copies of three updated publications: Niagara Seasons -- the official Visitor's Guide for Niagara; Les Saisons -- the official French language Visitor's Guide for Niagara; and a brand new bilingual brochure Cycling in Niagara/Niagara en Vélo.
The 2009 Niagara Seasons features articles on topics such as Food, Wine & Drink, Romantic Vacation Planner, Arts & Entertainment,Niagara attractions like Shopping, Fun with the Family, Natural Outdoors and Culture & History. There is also an extensive Niagara Festival & Events Calendar to help visitors plan their Niagara Falls Region visit. The guide will be available March 27 at Gateway Niagara Information Centre.
Les Saisons 2009 is a 44 page guide with editorial written from a French perspective including articles of particular interest to visitors from Quebec or France on the wines of Niagara, cycling routes, and products grown in Niagara. The guide is now available at Gateway Niagara Information Centre.
Cycling enthusiasts of all skill levels will be interested in Niagara's newest publication Cycling in Niagara/Niagara en Vélo. The full-colour bilingual brochure contains six distinct cycling loops with milestone distances and street names so cyclists can efficiently plan a day trip or series of day trips by bicycle throughout the Niagara Region. Almost all of Niagara's municipalities are covered by at least one route. The map also emphasizes the importance of the Greater Niagara Circle Route.
