Ross Klein talks about denizen
Ross Klein is global head, luxury & lifestyle brands, Hilton Family of Hotels. This month, he launched Hilton's newest hotel brand - Denizen. Does the world need a new hotel brand? Well we're hoping it will have a relevancy, obviously. We are not living in normal times, that's true, and perhaps some would say that the wisest thing to do would be to conserve your energy and your capital and wait and see what happens. But we couldn't have disagreed more. In fact I think it shows a calculated confidence based on science and intuition and humility. It is about looking forward versus being paralysed in the moment. It's a great time for invention and innovation and our leadership between Blackstone and Hilton and our spiritual leadership in Chris Nassetta (ceo of Hilton International) really believed in that. And it's a good message for our talent around the world and our industry.
