The Stratton Warren System is a full-featured inventory and procurement solution that automates the entire procurement process — from food and beverage to general property materials — and provides a fast and measurable return on investment by reducing labor costs and waste and eliminating time-consuming and error-prone paper documents. SWS will enable Rivers Casino to obtain the best prices for goods and services and maximize purchasing power. The property will use the SWS inventory module to keep a current accounting of items in stock and reduce inventory carrying costs; the SWS purchasing module to improve accuracy in ordering; the SWS recipe & menu analysis module to refine menus and manage food and beverage costs; and the SWS barcode module to enable wireless data collection of inventory.

Rivers Casino will be an exciting, world-class gaming and entertainment venue located on the northern shore of the Ohio River in Pittsburgh's Downtown River District. Scheduled to open in August 2009, the $780 million facility will feature 3,000 slot machines, four restaurants, live entertainment and a 1,000-seat amphitheatre. With its sleek façade of glass and metal, the property offers breathtaking views of the Ohio River. Future plans include the development of additional entertainment and dining venues, a 300-room hotel and a multi-purpose event room to accommodate 2,500 guests.
