Accor Hotels Launch Largest-Ever Digital Signage Roll-Out
Simon McGrath, Accor Australia’s Vice President, said that while most innovation in hotels centred on guest rooms, Accor also believes in a cutting edge approach to presenting information in public areas of the hotels.
“When people travel, especially for business, time is precious, and if they can receive regularly updated business and other news headlines, digital signage can provide a really beneficial communication service to travellers,” said Mr McGrath.
“Our focus will be on supplying quality information and entertainment to our guests. This solution allows us to centrally and locally communicate with them at the click of a button.
“We expect the digital signage screens to be popular with local operators of tourist attractions and restaurants, as well as lifestyle brands who want to reach the 6.7 million guests that stay in our Australian hotels annually.”
Moving Tactics has commenced the sale of advertising on the screens to both local and national advertisers, offering packages from just $15 per hotel per day.
Mr Daniel Geurs, Sales Director from Moving Tactics, said “Advertisers are looking for cost-effective alternatives to traditional media outlets to generate sales and brand recognition with both local and overseas travellers.
“The screens will reach close to 10,000 people per day, creating huge advantages for advertisers keen to get close to their target markets,” he added.
Moving Tactics can update the information and download advertising 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
