AUSTIN, TEXAS, USA | Hospitality Financial and Technology Professionals (HFTP®) recently announced that Lisa Funk, CPA, CHAE, is the new global secretary of HFTP. She is the director of financial operations for Willows Lodge in Woodinville, Wash. and has over 11 years of leadership in the hospitality industry. Her range of knowledge includes experience in country clubs, athletic clubs and hotels.

"HFTP has greatly contributed to my professional growth, helping me find jobs, introducing me to new opportunities and offering important continuing education," said Funk. "I look forward to giving back to HFTP by using my professional experiences to propel the association into the new business era."

Funk has been a member of HFTP since 1997. She is currently the HFTP Education Advisory Council co-chair and has also served on the HFTP Global Board of Directors and the Leadership Academy council. She is active with the HFTP Greater Puget Sound Chapter, having held various leadership positions. Funk is also on the South Seattle Community College Advisory Council for Bachelor of Applied Science Degree in Hospitality Management and is a member of the Audit Committee for the Woodland Park Zoo.
