Anaheim, CA, HITEC 2009 – Complementing a one and a half year, up to $30 million renovation of many of its Orlando leisure properties, Rosen Hotels & Resorts now features free Wi-Fi services throughout guest rooms and facilities at both the Quality Inn Plaza and the Comfort Inn Lake Buena Vista. The new Wi-Fi networks, featuring BelAir Networks market-leading technology, support Managed Wi-Fi Services delivered to the hotels and their guests by Millennium Technology Group, a full service IT provider specializing in the hospitality industry.

Within walking distance of the Orlando/Orange County Convention Center, the Quality Inn Plaza features 1020 guest room within six high-rise buildings, 2 outdoor swimming pools, restaurants and sports bar. 100% Wi-Fi coverage was achieved with just 11 BelAir100 wireless nodes. Comfort Inn Lake Buena Vista comprises 640 rooms in four high-rise buildings on 23 acres of well maintained grounds, featuring 2 swimming pools, a kids’ playground, restaurant and lounge. One BelAir200 and 11 BelAir100 wireless nodes provide 100% indoor and outdoor Wi-Fi coverage.
Millennium operates as the hotels’ IT department ensuring that no onsite involvement of hotel personnel is required to deploy, support or manage the Wi-Fi networks or guests’ usage. Millennium provides help desk support directly to guests and manages the networks remotely. Free Wi-Fi service at the properties is accessed through a customized splash page which features local promotions and provides usage metrics on the network. The Wi-Fi networks also support guest experience, safety, and operations applications including point of sale (POS) devices, video security cameras and VoIP for hotel personnel.
