Demand Position is the first competitive market intelligence solution to provide comprehensive insights into hotel market demand for future dates.

How It Works: Hotel companies supplying group and transient data to MarketVision Demand Position provide their entire demand for each of their properties, totaling some 3,500 hotels across North America. The data includes group block and pick-up information as well as transient demand for a full year into the future. This critical market intelligence gives subscribing hotels an in-depth view of their competitive situation for future dates. Reports examine their demand versus aggregate competitor demand by segment, channel, length of stay and many other dimensions.

MarketVision Demand Position was piloted in 11 markets beginning in December of 2007 and is now available for all markets in North America.
