Host Hotels Inc (HST.N), owner of luxury and upscale hotels, posted better-than-expected results on Wednesday, but cut its full-year forecast as room rates and occupancy for its hotels dropped sharply. The largest lodging real estate investment trust posted second-quarter funds from operations, or FFO, of 12 cents per share, down from 55 cents per share a year earlier.
