AH&LA Releases New Card Check Educational Video
“Stand Up” helps answer many questions employees have about union organizing campaigns that can suddenly appear in a hospitality workplace. The video is designed to be shown to a hotel’s hourly employees at employee staff meetings, training sessions, or during breaks.

“This video is an important new tool to use to educate a hotel’s staff about card check and the threat it poses to the lodging workplace,” said Marlene Colucci, AH&LA executive vice president for public policy. “It will open their eyes to the many crafty methods used by today’s professional union organizers, and more importantly, arm them with the knowledge about their many rights and how to use them in the workplace to their advantage.”
