Americas Best Value Inn

CLEVELAND | Fresh off a successful first half of 2009 in which it added 68 locations across the United States and Canada, Americas Best Value Inn enjoyed a banner month of July by bringing on 14 new properties. It was the best month of growth this year for the 10th largest limited-service hotel chain in the country.

With its innovative Freestyle Brand Affiliation model that attracts hoteliers seeking an affordable alternative to franchising, Americas Best Value Inn totaled 783 new rooms in July. The largest additions were a 107-room property in Baltimore, Md., and an 84-room hotel in Vacaville, Calif., which is located between San Francisco and Sacramento.

Also new to the system is a Canadas Best Value Inn in picturesque Lillooet, British Columbia. Other additions to the ABVI family included properties in Newport, Ore.; Ironwood, Mich.; Battle Mountain, Nev.; Gilroy, Calif.; Waconia, Minn.; Franklin, Va.; Clarksville, Ark.; Russellville, Ala.; Grand Rivers, Ky.; Temple, Texas; and Enfield, Conn.

Six of Americas Best Value Inn’s new hotels were independents and the rest are conversions from other major brands, including Best Western and Comfort Inn.

“We are averaging nearly three new properties per week in 2009, which demonstrates the strength of our brands during good and bad economic times,” said Roger Bloss, Founder, President and CEO of Vantage Hospitality Group, which is the parent company of Americas Best Value Inn, Canadas Best Value Inn, Chinas Best Value Inn, Value Inn Worldwide, and The Lexington Collection. “Hotel owners are seeing the value of joining our membership brand – the unique Freestyle model that allows members a voice and a vote, the one-of-a-kind Return On Investment Promise, and all our progressive, revenue-generating programs and comprehensive resources.”
