Best Western Premier Songdo Park Hotel, Incheon, celebrates its Grand opening
Overall the project aspires to make the city and South Korea the preeminent business hub of Asia. As such, among the VIPs on the guest list for the hotel’s opening ceremony were Mr. Sang Soo Ahn, Mayor of Incheon Metropolitan City & Congressman, Mr. Hun Suk Lee, President of Incheon Free Economic Zone Company, Mr. Hwan Ik Cho, President of KOTRA (Korea Trade-investment Promotion Agency) and Mr. Jae geun Choi, President of Incheon Tourism Organization.

The Songdo International Business District (IBD) will include a convention center, an international school, museum, ecotarium, cultural center, Jack Nicklaus Golf Course, Northeast Asia Trade Tower (NEATT), First World Towers, and Central Park. Incheon Tower is part of another parcel within New Songdo City. State-of-the-art schools, hospitals, apartments, office buildings and high-end cultural amenities are to be built in the city.
