Frankfurt | Trust International has added the Recommended BAR (Best Available Rate) functionality to its Revenue Management System interface to help hotels maximise their yielding opportunities.

Ensuring distribution channels are maintained with the latest rates can be time consuming, therefore Trust International and EasyRMS have developed a new upload which recommends the Best Available Rate for maximising yield after sophisticated analysis of an automated upload.

Clive Taylor, VP of Operations at EasyRMS, said, “The new Trust / EzRMS™ BAR interface means that now hotels will be able to choose between the existing method, in which different rates are offered depending on the length of stay, and the new, more flexible option, which will allow hotels to sell different rate values during the guest’s multiple-night stay. This new Trust upload is unique to EasyRMS at this time and will offer improved functionality to our mutual clients.”

“The interface eliminates all the tedious research and manual data entry required previously, and takes a lot of guesswork out of the process, while reducing the potential for human errors,” added Richard Wiegmann, COO & Managing Director of Trust International. “We can now redirect those resources while being certain that we are achieving the best yields.”

Chester Grosvenor and Spa, part of Small Luxury Hotels of the World, is the first hotel of the SLH group to use the new technology.

Both EasyRMS and Trust have worked tirelessly to complete the final piece of our interface jigsaw,” he said, “and by offering this facility, the circle is complete and we can now operate a full two-way interface.”

Revenue Management is one of Trust International’s top priorities, so the company continually upgrades its RMS interfaces, as it did recently. “We are also developing existing relationships and deploying sophisticated functionalities to save hotel groups additional time, money and manpower,” noted Wiegmann.

The introduction of recommended BAR to Trust’s interface provides enhanced revenue management for the chains and properties using it, thus improving their sales by offering the right price for the specific period, while maximising yield.

The Chester Grosvenor and Spa has been closely involved with the development of this new upload, and according to Grieve, both companies have adapted to meet the property’s requirements. “The interface will ensure that we are offering parity rates across all areas of our business as recommended by the EzRMS™ Revenue Management tool,” he commented.
