Blatt, Leeds named Entrepreneurs in Residence at Cornell School of Hotel Administration

Ithaca, NY, September 24, 2009 – Hospitality leaders Kenny Blatt and Warren Leeds have been named Entrepreneurs in Residence at the Cornell School of Hotel Administration for the 2009-2010 academic year. Blatt and Leeds, both graduates of the school, will guest lecture, meet with faculty, and provide advice and direction to students.

"Our students can learn much from Kenny and Warren," said Tom Ward, managing director of the Pillsbury Institute for Hospitality Entrepreneurship at the school. "We appreciate their interest in helping students see first-hand what it takes to become successful entrepreneurs and innovators."

Blatt is a principal in Caribbean Property Group LLC, which develops, operates, and owns real estate assets in Puerto Rico, the Caribbean, and Central America. Blatt has also developed and managed real estate, hotel, and restaurant projects in markets worldwide.

Leeds is president and co-founder of Dartcor Management Services, a leader in corporate food service in New York and New Jersey. Leeds and business partner Christopher Schiavone launched their business in the 1980s by opening Ome Deli and Caterers, a retail gourmet deli and catering enterprise.
