Americas Best Value Inn maintained its strong growth during these difficult economic times by making the third quarter its best yet in 2009. The nation’s 10th largest limited-service hotel chain added 38 properties between July and September to exceed 100 new properties for the year to date.

After bringing on 32 and 36 hotels, respectively, during the first two quarters, Americas Best Value Inn capped off its impressive third quarter by posting its finest month of growth this year – 15 properties and 966 rooms added in September. The grand total for new properties in 2009 is now at 106 with 6,307 rooms.

With its innovative Freestyle Brand Affiliation model that attracts hoteliers seeking an affordable alternative to franchising, Americas Best Value Inn expanded in such major cities as Houston, St. Louis, Milwaukee and Kansas City, which is a new construction. The largest addition in September was a 138-room former Days Inn in Corpus Christi, Texas.

Also new to the system last month were properties in Apex, N.C.; Livonia, Mich.; Crosset, Ark; Salida, Rifle and Boulder, Colo.; Eupora, Miss.; Oil City, Pa.; and Edinburg, Texas.
