With the assistance of its advisor, PKF Consulting of Atlanta, the Hotel Roanoke & Conference Center (HR&CC) is seeking proposals from qualified management firms interested in operating the 332 room historic hotel and adjoining conference site in Roanoke, Virginia. The Hotel Roanoke & Conference Center currently is operated by Doubletree Management, LLC, a subsidiary of Hilton Hotels. That contract will expire on December 31, 2010.

The owners of the Hotel Roanoke & Conference Center shall select an operator for 2011 forward through a competitive process and in keeping with Virginia’s public procurement requirements. As part of this competition, the Owners welcome Doubletree Management, LLC’s forthcoming proposal to continue as operator.

The HR&CC on November 2, 2009, intends to publish and circulate widely a Request for Proposals. All interested management firms are encouraged to attend a tour of the Hotel Roanoke & Conference Center on December 1, 2009, and submit their Proposals no later than January 14, 2010.
