The numbers from STR’s Weekly Trend Report for the week ending 6 March, included below, reveal that there were six markets (dark highlight: Denver, Detroit, New Orleans, New York, San Francisco, and Seattle) where there was a double-digit occupancy percent change increase (ranging from 10 percent to 13 percent), so hotels in these markets enjoyed significantly more travelers this year compared to last.
