Warwick International Hotels, which celebrates its 30th anniversary this year, is proud to welcome to its Collection two new hotels in Italy: Borgo La Bagnaia Resort & Spa in Siena and Hotel Hermitage in Milan. They join the Hotel d’Inghilterra in Rome and the Hotel Helvetia & Bristol in Florence as part of WIH.

In February 2010, WIH announced the Villa Källhagen in Stockholm, Sweden had joined the collection. Opened in 1810, this boutique hotel offers 36 bedrooms which all have breathtaking views on the Djurgården canal.

Borgo La Bagnaia Resort & Spa reigns over 1100 hectares, just twelve kilometres south west of Siena, where nature and history meet in perfect harmony. All of the 101 rooms and suites have magnificent views overlooking the splendid Tuscan countryside. The interior decoration is characterized by fabulous original pieces created by master craftsmen based on the owner’s design.

The fabrics used for the upholstery; the curtains, bedcovers and cushions were also designed exclusively for the hotel. There is a clever marriage of modern furnishings and rare examples of Chinese and European antiques which are part of the owner's private collection.

The Restaurant “La Voliera” is an exquisite gastronomic journey through the authentic aromas and flavours of the finest Tuscan cuisine, an experience guaranteed to gratify not only the palette, but also the eyes and sense of smell.

The Buddha Wellness Centre specializes in a variety of treatments inspired by different ethnic philosophies, along with a sauna, and Turkish baths. Pleasure and relaxation are further guaranteed by the inside pool decorated with columns and antique vases and by the treatments using the precious thermal spring water.

With a seating capacity for up to 450 participants, the event venue provides the ideal location for seminars, lectures, product launches, theatrical shows and cultural events. The elegant banqueting hall is able to accommodate as many as 350 guests, providing the perfect setting for a variety of events from gala dinners to wedding receptions. The Hotel Hermitage is located in an enviable position, between Corso Sempione and Brera, a short distance from the Stazione Centrale and just a few steps away from Milan's historic centre.

The Hotel Hermitage provides 131 rooms, all elegantly refined and with care taken over every detail. The 11 Suites and the Presidential Suite are particularly distinguished by their refined sitting rooms and the exclusiveness of their finishing touches.

The “Il Sambuco” restaurant is known internationally and offers excellent cuisine, with a particular focus on fish. The open-air terrace is also available in the summer period, where guests can relax in quiet surroundings in the heart of Milan. It is enjoyable for evening meals, working lunches and every occasion in which elegance and quality are appreciated. Caesar’s Bar reflects the atmosphere of the Hotel Hermitage’s foyer.

The Hotel Hermitage Conference Centre is ideal for those who need an elegant, exclusive and professional setting in the heart of Milan. The centre has four rooms, two of which are modular and can be joined to create a single room seating 200 people.
