The National Business Travel Association (NBTA), in partnership with QuickMobile, will provide advanced mobile solutions to attendees of the NBTA 2010 International Convention & Exposition, to be held August 8-11 in Houston.

The NBTA Convention Mobile site and apps, made possible by the support of BCD Travel, will provide Convention attendees with anytime, anywhere access to convention information and social networking capabilities, as well as the ability to network with one another right from their smart phones.

NBTA Convention Mobile will offer access to the agenda, speaker details, and news; a searchable attendee list; and videos on NBTATV. Users will be able to share one another's experiences through Twitter (hashtag #NBTA10), Facebook, and a photo gallery that will integrate NBTA's flickr stream with users' mobile photo uploads from the Convention. Attendees will be able to find one another through a searchable database and reach out to other attendees with a messaging feature.

Convention attendees can download the iPhone and Blackberry apps at no charge at www.nbtaconvention.org/mobile or visit the mobile site at http://m.nbta.org. The apps and mobile site are slated to launch the week of August 2.

Mike McCormick, NBTA Executive Director & COO, said, "NBTA strives to continually enhance its Convention with innovations that aim to make it an even more dynamic and customized event. This year attendees will have key information and sharing capabilities before, during and after the Convention -- right in the palm of their hands. From the event schedule to social networking to Houston highlights, NBTA Convention Mobile

will help delegates successfully navigate and enhance the Business Travel Event of the Year."

David Snell, QuickMobile's EVP Sales and Marketing, stated, "We are very excited to be working on mobilization with NBTA for its annual Conference and are confident that we can extend the experiences of the event and provide much added productivity for attendees and staff. NBTA has always been forward-looking when it comes to the application of technology for its members, and this is no exception."

Added April Bridgeman, BCD Travel's senior vice president of Strategic Marketing & Technology Planning, "Given BCD Travel's commitment to bring mobile services for business travelers, we didn't treat this as a typical sponsorship. We were directly involved with the NBTA Convention Mobile's design and are proud of the results. BCD Travel is excited to bring functionality to NBTA participants that will greatly enhance their convention experience."
