Rearden Commerce today announced a new alliance with IBM’s Managed Business Process division (IBM MBPS), with the goal to introduce more choice to the expense management and online procurement category.

Rearden Commerce will work with IBM to deliver an integrated solution that consolidates booked transaction data from the Rearden Commerce™ Platform, and actual business expense data from IBM’s Global Expense Reporting Solution (IBM GERS) system. By working with IBM, the Rearden Personal Assistant™ can give administrators in accounts payable, finance, procurement, travel and other key departments the ability to manage policies, spend and preferred providers. Additionally, companies using these solutions can gain deep insight into employee business expenses and spending patterns.
