WHITE PLAINS, NY – Designers, architects, purchasers and developers, along with hotel owners and operators, will have access to an all-new interiors fair, with the launch of Boutique Design New York (BDNY), November 14-15, 2010. Some 150 interior product manufacturers, design forums, show-floor lounges designed by Champalimaud and Morgans Hotel Group, and the presentation of Boutique Design magazine's annual Design Awards, will highlight the inaugural event, running concurrently with the International Hotel, Motel + Restaurant Show, at New York City's new Javits Center North.

BDNY exhibitors - representing high-end, unique and innovative design products for hospitality, including furniture, lighting, wall coverings, fabric, seating, accessories, artwork, carpet and flooring, materials, bath and spa - will be presented in small-scale displays, creating an intimate, boutique-style shopping environment.

A one-of-a-kind dramatic red-carpet entryway, designed by ABA Design Studios, Las Vegas, will set the stage for design inspiration, while relaxation lounges, designed by Champalimaud and Morgans Hotel Group of New York, will offer networking space for attendees. Project partners include Fabricut, Mitchell Gold & Bob Williams, Positive Space, Cheng Meng, Coast to Coast Designs, Phillips Collection, Siberian Floors, Vaughn Benz and Lusive Décor.

Extending beyond product, the show's resources will include two design forums, and an elite design awards presentation. Key boutique ownership representatives will address what owners want from designers, and a panel of global firms will present must-do tactics for international market success. The fifth annual Boutique Design Awards - recognizing the best and brightest hotel, spa, restaurant and nightclub designs, along with a designer of the year - will be presented at the Javits Center on Sunday, November 14, at 5:00pm.

Boutique Design New York will run Sunday, November 14 through Monday, November 15, 2010 at New York City's new Javits North. The show will attract some 3,000 designers, architects, purchasers and developers, along with crossover participation from hospitality property owners and operators in attendance at the adjacent IHMRS.
