The Lexington Collection

The Lexington Collection® of unique hotels, plaza hotels, and resorts continues to expand with the addition of the Lexington Inn & Suites in Stillwater, MN.

Formerly a Holiday Inn Express®, the Lexington Inn & Suites is located at 2000 Washington Avenue and has 58 spacious guest rooms and suites, a business center, guest laundry facility, a heated indoor pool and hot tub, and a meeting facility. Guests will enjoy the numerous complimentary amenities such as deluxe continental breakfast served daily and access to a nearby 24-hour fitness center.

Located three miles outside of historic downtown Stillwater and just 24 miles from Minneapolis, the Lexington Inn & Suites is conveniently located near many popular attractions, including the Mall of America, Washington County Fairgrounds, and the Metrodome.

According to Jan Burgstrom, general manager of the property, the choice to convert to the Lexington Collection came after quite a bit of research. “We really wanted more control over our property and the freedom to choose the services and amenities that we know will meet and exceed our guests’ expectations,” she said. “Of course, we were also looking to lower our fees without lowering our revenue and the Lexington Collection provided all of the above.”

Bill Hanley, Group President of the Lexington Collection, reiterated Burgstrom’s reasons. “In today’s economic climate, many hotels are looking to lower their fees by converting to another brand, yet they fear that lower fees mean lower revenue. That simply isn’t true with the Lexington Collection.
