HBSi Expands Its Service Offering with Help from Genares

HBSi hotel customers now can manage their GDS and direct Internet business through their single, real-time connection to HBSi

HBSi, an IBS Group company, and Genares Worldwide Reservation Services have expanded their relationship to add GDS and Internet/mobile booking engine services to their connectivity offering.

With help from Genares, HBSi now provides hotel companies with connectivity to their most important electronic segments: the GDSs (through which most business travel is booked), the hotels' own booking engine as well as key online travel websites.

HBSi's iDemand Gateway TM platform allows hotels to connect and manage all of their electronic distribution through a single, real time, connection that is directly integrated into their CRS or PMS.

One of the first customers to leverage GDS services is Intrawest, a luxury resort owner and operator based in Vancouver, Canada. In recent months, GDS connectivity also has been added by Treasure Island as well as others in the Las Vegas market.
