Travel industry research authority PhoCusWright Inc. has announced the inaugural 2010 Class of 35 participants and mentors. The 35 young travel leaders and five mentors will convene at this year's Young Leaders Summit@The PhoCusWright Conference in Phoenix, AZ, USA.

The Young Leaders Summit kicks off a year-long executive development program for rising stars aged 35 and under, designed to stimulate innovative thinking, foster collaboration and grow the size and quality of next-generation travel leadership.

"Young talent often has limited exposure to premier events like The PhoCusWright Conference," says Philip C. Wolf, president and CEO of PhoCusWright. "The Young Leaders Summit provides significant learning and career opportunities, encouraging travel companies to invest in the future executives who will drive strategy and innovation."

Successful applicants will join the inaugural Class of 35 and gain access to a range of events and contests – both during The PhoCusWright Conference, and throughout the year. The Class of 35 will interact with travel luminaries, attend exclusive conference sessions and continue their development during quarterly Online Events. Each member competes for awards including a spot on stage and US$10,000 in conference or research credit for their company.
