Alexandria, VA – The Global Business Travel Association (GBTA) today announced the completion of a customized Corporate Travel Executive (CTE) learning program for the North American Delta Air Lines, KLM, Air France and Alitalia Sales organization. GBTA applauds Delta’s foresight to train their sales-force on how to successfully partner with procurement offices.

The GBTA CTE program is a fundamental course for travel professionals to learn the components of business travel and the key tenants of managing travel spend, in addition to the skills needed to maximize cost containment, improve efficiency and further implement or create a healthy managed travel culture within a business. The CTE program covers travel policies, safety and security, spending trends and benchmark metrics, industry shaping technology and calculating the ROI of a managed travel program.
