Accor SA (AC), Europe’s largest hotel company, said summer business has been “good” as room prices increase, while first-half earnings matched analysts’ estimates. Earnings before interest and taxes rose to 199 million euros ($287 million) from 156 million euros a year earlier, the Evry, France-based owner of the Sofitel brand said in a statement today. That met the average of eight analyst estimates compiled by Bloomberg.
