Daly Gray Announces Staff Expansion
Officials of Daly Gray, Inc., the only public relations firm that specializes in the business of hotels, today announced an organizational expansion of the firm in response to the hotel industry's recent economic recovery and growing client base.
Senior vice president Chris Daly, a 15-year veteran of the firm, has been promoted to president. He will be responsible for the company's growth strategy and account management, as well as crisis communications on behalf of the company's clients.
"Chris is a highly-skilled communications strategist with strong media relationships," said Jerry Daly, company co-founder and chairman. "He is one of the foremost authorities on hotel crisis communications management and currently oversees more than 50 percent of our client accounts. He'll continue to work closely with his clients while seeking out new opportunities as the industry continues to rebound."
Daly joined the firm in 1996 and is active in strategic planning, marketing communications, investor and corporate communications, special events, media relations, advertising, and account management. He is a frequent speaker and regular guest lecturer on a variety of topics, including social media and crisis communications.
Daly Gray also announced that Lauralee Dobbins has joined the firm as senior vice president. Dobbins brings more than 20 years of public relations experience, primarily in hospitality, food and beverage and tourism.
"Lauralee is a creative communicator who has worked for some of the world's largest hospitality companies as well as owned her own successful PR firm. She has more than a decade's experience in the casino-hotel industry. She brings a strong consumer communications background and already has become a valuable resource to our existing clients," said Chris Daly.
The company's expansion began with the return of Patrick Daly to the firm as an account supervisor, bringing his considerable writing and organizational skills, as well as knowledge of foreign markets, to the growing company.
"Patrick is an outstanding communicator who has great rapport with our clients," said Chris Daly. "He adds needed bench strength to our team."
