Major hotels in Bangkok are already feeling the pinch from the worsening flood situation, even though the city center remains mostly dry. “We are only running at 30% of our capacity, out of 802 guest rooms,” said Rashana Pimolsindh, Director of Communications for Bangkok’s Shangri-La Hotel. “We usually are filled at about 70%-90% of our capacity during this time of year.”
