Mr. Daniel Cheung, General Manager of HKES says, "As China's economy and the tourism & hospitality industry enters a golden period of development, China faces a shortage of manpower and high energy prices accounting for a heightened demand for hospitality technology. To deliver a direct vehicle for expert knowledge on the evolving technology market & solutions to these contemporary challenges, AHTEC 2.0 @ FHC China 2012 will be held in Shanghai for the first time to reveal the use of key technologies to increase efficiency, reduce costs, and make effective use of manpower. Given its advantage as a well-established global food and hospitality expo in China, FHC China, which is also owned by the Allworld group will be an ideal platform to reach out to decision-makers from the industry whose core businesses comprise import, wholesale, retail, theme park, transport ation, restaurant, hotel and resort."

An international Advisory Council, formed by HFTP will devise the education programme for the Conference, with a focus on hospitality technology issues important to the region. The Council is chaired by Terence Ronson, Managing Director, Pertlink Limited.
