BOWLING GREEN, OH; November 15, 2011 – Systems Associates, Inc. (SAI) and Ascom (US) Inc. announce that the two companies are working on an interface that will create "synergy" for the Hyatt Place Waikiki Beach. SAI provides the SynergyMMS® maintenance management software that will be utilized to maintain the asset and improve staff efficiency regarding preventive maintenance and guest requests. Ascom provides the on-site wireless VoWiFi telephone and messaging platform for the newly remodeled property. Ascom's Unite Messaging Suite is the messaging platform that can send automated text messages, alerts and alarms from a number of systems including HVAC, fire, and security directly to mobile workers wireless handsets.. The addition of the SynergyMMS interface will allow staff members to receive messages from the software and respond with updates to the system in real-time.

"Reliable, real-time communication is critical to delivering the ultimate in service and coordinating staff and activities," said Craig Strickler, Corporate Director, Transitions & Projects for Kokua Hospitality. "By working together, Ascom and SAI are helping us to leverage our investment in both systems by extending their reach. We expect the integration to provide a seamless solution for all of our internal communication needs."

SAI's President, Dave Codding concurred.

"We see this as a win-win," said Codding. "Our goal is to provide tools that make the challenges of maintenance in hospitality easier to overcome. Together with Ascom, SynergyMMS can provide a powerful mobile messaging solution that will help the Hyatt staff members solve problems quickly and accurately while remaining in constant communication."

"Extending SynergyMMS service order messaging to Ascom on-site wireless handsets offers hotel staff another tool to respond faster to guest needs and improve the guest experience," said Dan Allen, Senior Business Development Director for Ascom Wireless. "Our joint integration provides instant communication of a guest request to mobile staff members, who can easily update the work request status via the wireless handset without being tethered to a computer. This integration will also dispatch resources more efficiently and benefit productivity as well."

The integration is in development and will be piloted at the Hyatt Place Waikiki Beach in December of 2011. For more information about SynergyMMS, contact John Clark at (419) 728-1926 or email him at [email protected]. You can also learn more by visiting www.synergymms.com.
