'Students now have hands-on practice with some of the most innovative technologies in the hotel business.'
"The new systems will provide a dual advantage for us," said Richard Adie, general manager at the Statler. "We will be more efficient and cost effective in our uniform management operations. We also have the opportunity to give our students hands-on experience with some of the most innovative technologies in the hotel business." InvoTech Vice President Jeff Welles said, "The entire InvoTech team is delighted Statler Hotel selected our automated uniform tracking technology. Cornell students work at the Statler Hotel as part of their training and studies. Now they will learn industry best practices in efficient uniform department management. GIMS™ will be interfaced to the White Conveyors U-Pick-It System to automatically distribute the uniforms to the employees. Employees will just scan their ID cards and the U-Pick-It system will automatically deliver their uniforms and record the transaction. GIMS™ knows exactly which uniforms were picked up by the employees."

"I travel all over the world and meet Cornell graduates everywhere," said Paul Mullen, vice president of national sales at White Conveyers. "We are honored to be selected by the Statler Hotel. We anticipate that the InvoTech and White Conveyers systems will provide a beneficial learning experience for current and future Cornell students."

InvoTech will provide the GIMS™ real-time tracking software, professional installation and training, and all related equipment. Installation is scheduled for January 2012.
