HR Academy, the American Hotel & Lodging Educational Institute's master licensee in the Republic of Korea, has certified all of its staff members as Certified Guest Service Professionals (CGSP) after completing the Guest Service Gold training program. They have also become the first EI licensee to be designated as a Certified Guest Service Partner. HR Academy serves the hospitality industry by providing education and training programs to many hotels and resorts in Korea.

"CGSP training was such an overwhelming experience for all of HR Academy's staff. There aren't many customer service related programs out there that can motivate you, and at the same time, tell you exactly how to achieve guest satisfaction," said Jade Hwang, HR Academy dean.

Hwang stated that HR Academy has started introducing this program to many hotels and resorts as well as colleges in Korea. Some of them have already finished the training, while others are currently getting training. She noted that the feedback from the most recent CGSP training, which was for Ramada Hotel employees, was extremely positive.

"HR Academy truly believes that this program will bring out a service-oriented mind from each and every employee and transform the property," said Hwang. "We are very excited to be a small part of this transformation!"
