Boston, MA – In spring 2012, The Revere arrives in Boston as a premiere independent, luxury hotel and entertainment destination. Inspired by Boston’s revolutionary spirit, the property pays reverence to the city’s rich history and storied past while embracing a modern edge and reveling in the non-traditional. The Revere breathes new life into the spaces formally inhabited by The Radisson and Stuart Street Playhouse, located on 200 Stuart St., in the heart of Boston’s vibrant theatre district. Following a dramatic transformation and under the guidance of new ownership, Northwood Hospitality (The Palace in NYC), the property boasts a 356-room boutique hotel; an exciting nightlife concept (the Emerald Lounge); a film and live entertainment venue (Theatre 1); and a versatile, multipurpose setting for events (Space 57).

The vision for The Revere Hotel was meticulously orchestrated by world-renowned BBGM Interiors (W in NYC, St Regis in NYC) and the hotel’s internal design team. The design and décor of The Revere reflects a contemporary and timeless aesthetic, a harmonious balance of convenience and luxury in an environment that is both welcoming and comfortable. BBGM designers transformed each space to capture the essence of The Revere Brand: equal parts style, character and class. A subtle flair for the dramatics was also woven into the design, a tribute to the property’s theatre district locale. “In such an iconic city, we cannot imagine a better opportunity than designing The Revere,” says Amy Jakubowski, partner at BBGM. “This challenge granted us the ability to use our creative license in new ways to bring something refreshing and innovative to the Boston hospitality market.”

Located in the center of the city, this 356-room hotel offers 325 guest rooms, thirty deluxe suites and one presidential suite. The lobby of The Revere serves as its prologue, a sleek and sophisticated opening that sets the stage for the acts to follow. Taking center stage is a functional art piece inspired by the work of famed sculptor Richard Serra. This sculptural transition gracefully guides guests through the first floor lobby and serves as a majestic welcome to the hotel.

The Revere guest rooms serve as the ensemble cast of the production. Combining high style with superb comfort, each room is best described as “livable glamour.” A neutral color palate allows for patterns and bold splashes of color to steal the show. A sleek hardwood entry way anchors the space as the room presents three distinct areas of “sleep,” “work” and “lounge.” A sensuously heeled oversized desk allows you to burn the midnight oil while a coy suede headboard and plush bedding flirt with a masculine hounds tooth chaise, inviting you to lounge and relax at your leisure. Each Revere guest room also features an oversized balcony offering commanding views of the city

skyline and old south end neighborhood. Inspiring artwork subtly referencing by-gone theatrical productions adorn the walls. In its commitment to partnering with local brands to create a memorable Boston experience, exclusive Skoah skin care amenities can be found in the bathroom. The only Skoah “spatique” in the country is located in Boston, a few blocks away from The Revere in the city’s chic South End.

The Presidential Suite is the leading actor of the Revere. Located on the 24th floor with sweeping skyline views, the Presidential suite is a grandiose and uninhibited take on luxury. Motifs reflecting world travels and theatrical set pieces exude personal style and individuality throughout all 1400 square feet. The suite captures a dark and dramatic vibe through vivacious splashes of color and a cohabitation of modern and traditional elements. This spectacular presentation of glamour and luxury offers a unique option for hosting special events and entertainment.

The Spaces

6th Floor Meeting Space:
An all encompassing destination for both business and leisure, The Revere hotel offers over 35,000 square feet of diverse and innovative function space, ranging from the traditional to the unexpected. The Revere will introduce a unique and avant-garde “industrial chic” sixth floor, dedicated to meeting and function space. Designed to embrace its raw structural elements, the sixth floor features exposed brick, reclaimed wood and rustic metals. The space evokes a creative energy and provocative environment native to an artist’s loft rather than a conventional meeting room. This space is broken into a 4,900 square foot function space and four smaller breakout rooms.

Theatre 1 & Space 57:
The Revere Hotel will also unveil two new venues, “Theatre 1” and “Space 57” in the space formally inhabited by the Stuart St. Playhouse. “Upon recognizing the tremendous value and unfulfilled potential of the playhouse, we were inspired to produce a modern adaptation of the theatre, returning to its days of being a marquee Boston venue,” says Simon Mais, General Manager of The Revere. The renovation includes a complete redesign of the existing theatre, transforming it into a luxurious and state-of-the-art theater. The 225-seat “theatre 1” is outfitted with plush seating, ambient lighting and the finest in projection and audio technology. Each luxury seat has its own designated workspace and power sources, creating a versatile venue amenable to everything from an intimate performance to a business presentation. The venue will also feature a newly designed pre-function lobby with full bar and service capabilities.

Opposite Theatre 1 is “Space 57,” a 6,700 square foot blank canvas and multi-dimensional event space, named in honor of the building’s original tenant, the Sack

Cinema 57. Originally housing the larger of the two-screen theatre, the space had been converted into an indoor golf school and driving range by the hotel’s former owners. Transformed into an innovative and distinctive event space, Space 57 boasts 25-foot ceilings, a built-in 30 ‘x 12’ AV screen and can accommodate up to 1,000 guests.

Emerald Lounge:
The Revere will also introduce the Emerald Lounge, a sophisticated and lively lounge and entertainment concept. An allusion to Boston’s sprawling Emerald Necklace and the “brightness and glory” discovered in the capital city of Oz, Emerald is destined to become the wicked jewel of Boston’s hospitality scene. The 6,000 square foot ultra lounge is designed to cater to a diverse and eclectic mix of patrons from the after work professional to the local late night reveler. The glamorous and enchanting ambience of Emerald will be complimented with creative craft cocktails and utensil-free cuisine.

The Partnerships:
In an effort to create an inimitable Boston experience, The Revere has developed unique partnerships with a handful of celebrated local brands and organizations. The most groundbreaking partnership is a collaboration with the Massachusetts College of Art & Design, offering senior fashion design students the opportunity to design all staff uniforms for the property. The year-long partnership finds the students working closely with hotel management to execute the vision of the property through fashionable and functional employee uniforms. From concept to completion the project carries a “Made in Massachusetts” distinction, as the manufacturing of all the designs was sourced to Classic Apparel, located in Everett, Massachusetts. The Mass Art designs take form in 11 different uniforms ranging from valet, to front desk to cocktail server.
