Hotels using traditional property management systems can now upgrade to the hetras cloud solution automatically without retyping any relevant data. Not only will the data be preserved, but the information will be visible in hetras' advanced business intelligence system.

Legacy property management systems, some based on technology from the 1980's, remain in place in thousands of hotels, simply because there have not been enough good reasons to upgrade to a more modern system. However, these old products have come to the end of their life cycle. In some cases, neither support nor upgrades are available. And now, with true cloud-based systems available such as hetras, there are very good reasons to upgrade to a new system.

hetras has recently introduced mapping technology that enables hotels upgrading from legacy systems to hetras to migrate their configuration data, reservations, financial data and historical data to the hetras cloud solution. Any hotel manager concerned with losing decades of valuable data should be able to sleep better at night.

Furthermore, historical data that has languished old-fashioned flat file structures will be imported into the business intelligence solution from hetras, making the data come alive. Now, for the first time, hotel managers can identify trends and patterns previously unseen and make intelligent business decisions.
