Accor Looks To Quadriga To Support Its Growth In North Africa
Two years ago the Accor group of hotels approached Quadriga Worldwide to support its expansion projects in North Africa and help ensure Accor can deliver a consistent brand experience to guests in its properties across the region. To support Accor's evolving business requirements and to serve as a base on which to expand its own activities across North Africa, Quadriga has established a local organisation based in Casablanca, Morocco.
"We are very pleased to have Quadriga supporting us locally in North Africa," says David Esseryk, Vice President Consumer Technology of Accor. "Prior to having the Quadriga support infrastructure in place, we struggled to maintain our standards for Accor across all of our brands and hotels and to communicate in a consistent manner with our guests. Quadriga has enabled us to regionally replicate the high levels of customer service achieved in other European countries. Furthermore, we now have a base from which to consistently expand across the continent, linking with the Middle East."
The Quadriga/Accor partnership has initially focused on Sofitel properties in Morocco, where Quadriga has successfully managed network infrastructure enhancement projects and LED TV installations for hotels in Marrakech, Agadir, Rabat and Casablanca. In addition to supporting Accor's luxury Sofitel brand in the region, Quadriga is also working with other Accor brands, like Ibis hotels, to provide cabling consultancy, network upgrade solutions and TV installations.
Regional plans are now in progress and include the adoption of Quadriga's mobile technology solutions and its recently announced Personal Media Network™ (PMN™), which was awarded the prestigious Equip'Innov Award at the Equip' Hotel Industry Conference and Exhibition in Paris in November 2012. PMN™ will enable Accor hotels to enhance guest communication and will provide a truly integrated environment where the TV, smartphone, tablet and laptop are all synchronised to deliver an unlimited world of service and content.
Jean Philippe Delouis, Quadriga's Area Managing Director for France, North Africa and the UK comments, "I am very proud that Quadriga is able to serve Accor in North Africa so effectively, and to contribute to its success in this important, growth region. We believe strongly in helping our customers with their evolving business needs, which sometimes requires us to commit to opening new offices and support networks in various parts of the world."
