Former Best Western is now a Lexington Inn
Patel said the hotel is currently undergoing guest room renovations that should be completed by the end of February. Plenty of finished rooms will be available for the Super Bowl and Mardi Gras, events Patel hopes to benefit from.
“Andy is a great example of our Lexington Inn owners,” said Bill Hanley, group president of Lexington by Vantage. “He was looking for a midscale, select-service brand that would give him the flexibility to market and operate his hotel without the unreasonable mandates of his former brand. Yet he still needed the resources of an international hotel company. Lexington does all that and more with the lowest fees in the industry, so now Andy can put more money back into his hotel, which is exactly what he’s doing.”
