Celebrating its 25th anniversary this year, Eastlink East Coast Music Week will be made up of 185 showcasing artists and 46 stages/events, happening at various Halifax venues from March 6-10. Another marquee Halifax event, The Ha!ifax Comedy Fest, is back for its 18th year with a packed slate of 15 shows from April 24-27 featuring some of Canada's best loved and well-known comedians including Caroline Rhea, Scott Thompson, Brett Butt, Debra Digiovanni, and Nikki Payne.

Halifax travel experiences always include fun, unique performances and this year is no exception. As the spring season begins to sprout, theatre lovers and Broadway fans will be eager to catch Neptune Theatre's production of Legally Blonde, The Musical which has dates through April and May and is guaranteed to be a crowd-pleaser. Also in April, Halifax audiences will be treated to legendary singer/songwriter/poet Leonard Cohen who will bring his Old Ideas World Tour to the Metro Centre stage on April 13. And count on Symphony Nova Scotia's Beer & Beethoven show to offer up a vibrant classical-meets-kitchen party evening of high quality Halifax entertainment on May 10. This lively annual celebration will mark the end of the Symphony's 30th anniversary season.
