The International Herald Tribune (IHT) has today launched its first Luxury Hospitality 2013, an exclusive think tank for luxury hospitality leaders, taking place in Lausanne, Switzerland on 6th June 2013. Organised with the Ecole hôtelière de Lausanne (EHL) , the world's leading hospitality management school, the one-day Luxury Hospitality 2013 conference will bring together senior representatives from around the world to discuss and rethink the concept of luxury hospitality.

Designed to offer an exclusive, niche forum, Luxury Hospitality 2013 will offer limited places to a delegation of chief executives in the luxury hospitality industry including hotel owners and directors, travel operators and agents, brand directors, developers and investors, consultants, suppliers and heads of tourist boards.

The new event will feature five sessions led by high-profile and influential speakers, including senior figures from St. Regis Hotels & Resorts, The Luxury Collection & W Hotels Worldwide, Nobu Hospitality Group and Yoo Hotels. Alongside other experts, the panel will share their vision for the future of luxury travel, divulge the latest research and forecasts for the next decade and engage with participants to exchange insights.

Topics for discussion include the new luxury consumer, applying innovation and technology to service, new design concepts, business models and hospitality trends.

Stephen Dunbar-Johnson, publisher, IHT, commented: "We identified that there was a gap in the market for a think tank limited to decision-makers in the luxury hospitality industry. With the launch of the Luxury Hospitality Summit we have created an exclusive event, bringing together carefully selected delegates who are tired of sales-driven events and want to learn from and network with inspiring thought-leaders."

Michel Rochat, General Director of the Ecole hôtelière de Lausanne said: "We are thrilled to host such an inspiring event uniting stakeholders of the world of hospitality." Ray F. Iunius, Director of Business Development and Marketing added: "We strongly believe that it is part of our role as a leading educational institution to support think tanks such as this, in order to shape the future of hospitality worldwide."

Luxury Hospitality 2013 will take place at the world-renowned Ecole hôtelière de Lausanne, located in a beautiful forested area only 10 minutes by car from Lausanne and 50 minutes from Geneva. To register and find out more please visit the website.
