White Lodging Services announced today it will construct a Hyatt Place/Hyatt House dual-branded property in downtownDenverand that it will operate the property under a franchise agreement.

The property will be White Lodging's first newly builtHyatt House, as well as its first dual-branded Hyatt property. Upon opening, it will be White Lodging's fifth newly constructed, urban Hyatt Place.

Construction of the property is expected to start this fall with an anticipated opening in the spring of 2015. The stand-alone 21-story building will have 346 hotel rooms at the southeast corner of 14th Street and Glenarm Place.

"This dual-branded property is the first new full-scale development to hit 14th Street since the street-scape project was completed in 2012," saidJohn Desmond, Executive Vice President of the Downtown Denver Partnership. All 346 suites will be spacious and will feature signature Hyatt Place andHyatt Housedesign. All guestrooms are also equipped with a mini fridge, a 42-inch flat screen TV, and free Wi-Fi.

The hotels will be White Lodging's 25th and 26th managed properties in the state, adding to a portfolio that includesDenver,Boulder and the surrounding communities.
