McLean, Va. – The Hospitality Sales and Marketing Association International (HSMAI) today announced Vizergy, a leader in the digital travel marketing sector, is providing funding for its entire client services team to pursue and earn HSMAI's most recent certification, the Certified  Hospitality Digital Marketer (CHDM).

HSMAI's certification program continues to expand as Vizergy joins a number of companies, including Marriott International, Inc. (NYSE:MAR) and Best Western International, Inc. in encouraging and providing means for their employees to further their knowledge of the rapidly evolving digital space and to earn HSMAI's accreditations.

The HSMAI CHDM program, which launched in 2012, has piqued the interest of hundreds of hospitality sales, marketing and revenue management professionals, digital marketers and hospitality industry executives through its three industry-targeted sections, making the digital certification directly applicable to those in the business wanting to sharpen their digital marketing expertise. 

"Digital marketing is sophisticated, and the disparity in knowledge between marketing companies and some hotel companies seems to be the cause of miscommunication and differing expectations," said Joe Hyman, Vizergy president & CEO.
