HOSPA has announced the date for its eagerly awaited HOSPACE 2013 Annual Conference and Exhibition – knowledge and connections for technology, finance and revenue management professionals in hospitality. This year’s influential event will be held on Thursday, 21 November, at the Sofitel London Heathrow, at Terminal 5.

Commenting on HOSPACE 2013, HOSPA Chief Executive Carl Weldon said: “Following on from the success of HOSPACE 2012, the 2013 event promises to be even bigger and better. Delegates can hear top level hospitality experts talk about the major topics and issues of the day, whilst finding solutions to their own workplace technology, finance and revenue management challenges through networking with their peers, attending educational workshops and visiting our larger than ever exhibition – providing delegates with a ‘one stop shop’ to view and interact with the latest and ‘best in class’ technologies. The exhibitors will be covering all eventualities for any hospitality business, whether they be start-up, established independent, or multi chain-owned, operations.

“HOSPACE 2013 is the largest and most prestigious annual gathering of like-minded hospitality practitioners in the UK. It is a must for all hospitality technology, finance, revenue management and commercial professionals looking to share knowledge and find solutions in the current difficult economic climate.”

The event’s grand finale Gala Dinner – including the signature ‘HOSPA Pub Quiz’ – is one of the traditional social networking highlights of the Conference.

HOSPA (‘Hospitality Professionals Association’ for Finance, Revenue Management and IT) is a non-profit educational organisation which has evolved from BAHA (British Association of Hospitality Accountants) which was formed in 1969. The aim of HOSPA is to bring together those hospitality industry professionals involved in Financial Management, Revenue Management and IT. Whereas BAHA has been recognised as the UK’s authoritative voice in the hospitality industry on financial management, technical accounting issues, taxation, and hotel valuation, HOSPA now is additionally the leading arena for debate on hotel systems and Revenue Management topics through their annual Conference and meetings programmes. The membership has expanded to nearly 1,100 members. HOSPA – which has provided an industry specific, hospitality focused programme in Financial Management for over 23 years – has just introduced similar programmes for Revenue Management and IT.
