staff is now integrated with the brand's guest-response program to eliminate redundant tasks associated with tracking and dispatching customer requests and complaints

Systems Associates Inc. is once again aiding Starwood Hotels & Resorts Worldwide Inc. (NYSE: HOT) by improving communication and creating efficiency through integration. By tying its SynergyMMS maintenance management solution with Starwood's StarGuest Response+ application that tracks on-premise guest requests and complaints, company owned and managed hotels across all brands will experience significant savings and increased effectiveness. StarGuest will continue to capture the relationship side of an issue while SynergyMMS manages workflow efficiency.

Integration of SynergyMMS into StarGuest Response+ began in March, and all 160 owned and

managed Starwood properties are on schedule to receive the holistic solution. Roll out to 15 properties is complete.

"SynergyMMS is giving our hotels a lot of freedom," said Gus Newbury, Starwood Regional Director of

Engineering – East. "Through this integration partnership, employees at all company owned and managed Starwood hotels can remain focused on the needs of our guests – past, present and future – while SynergyMMS manages the workflow of tasks that need addressed. Using a robust dispatching engine, SynergyMMS pulls all maintenance requests and identifies who should do what work, where and when. Once completed, the information is shared with StarGuest Response+, providing a detailed record of the guest request and how the hotel responded. It's the best possible way to coordinate fast responses to customer service requests to ensure that their needs were met, and an efficient way to make any problem go away."

"The Hospitality environment is different than any other because of guest issues," said John Clark, SAI

director of sales and marketing. "Problem resolution is one thing, but relationships are everything in this business. The StarGuest-SynergyMMS integration project leverages two very powerful systems that are each very good at their core tasks to deliver a level of service never before imagined. Both systems share information with one another in real-time so users of either system are fully aware of each step in the process. The SAI / Starwood relationship is proof that collectively, through integration, we are making hospitality better than we could do independently."
