Toronto, Ontario – Ignite magazine has announced fresh new dates for its annual Ignite Business Event (iBE) Expo, now being held April 8 – 9, 2014 at the Direct Energy Centre in Toronto. The move is announced after a survey of planners and suppliers alike answered "YES" to changing the dates to an earlier time frame. The two-day expo is open to people who plan business events.

Co-founder of Ignite magazine, Debbie van der Beek, commented that the move was an easy decision for them. "We want to make iBE accessible to everyone. After receiving feedback from our suppliers and planners that June was just too busy, we felt it made sense to send out a survey and ask the question – do you want to see Ignite move the dates to an earlier time frame? The response was an overwhelming YES, so we listened!"

Ignite reports 86% of planners and 89% of suppliers were in approval of moving the dates up. Industry associations such as MPI, Site Canada, and CanSPEP have also voiced their support of the date change.

The team at Ignite are excited by the move to April and have kicked into high gear on plans for iBE 2014. The goal of iBE is to provide a fresh, unique environment where everything readers love about Ignite magazine is brought to life.

"Each year we strive to enhance the iBE experience. Fresh ideas and unique interactive zones on the show floor provide an environment where meetings, incentives and corporate travel market planners can be inspired" says co-founderRichard Elliott. "We want to make iBE a welcoming place where planners and suppliers experience meaningful one-on-one time with each other."

Further information on the Expo will be released in the coming months. For up to date information visit ignitemag.ca. Online registration is set to launch November 1, 2013.
