Barcelona's four-star SB Plaza Hotel Europa has signed with Pegasus Solutions for global

distribution and sales support. The newest hotel in SB Hotels' seven-hotel portfolio, which opened October 31, will be represented and marketed through the global distribution systems (GDS) under the UI chain code.

Hotel SB Plaza Europa is designed to meet strict energy efficiency and sustainability

criteria (the building has obtained the A energy rating). The new four-star hotel has a total of 242 rooms outfitted with fine materials in elegant Mediterranean colours. Its distinct lobby has a library outfitted with eight-meter-tall rosewood shelves and a capacity for more than 10,000 books. Hotel SB Plaza Europa also features a restaurant, a cafeteria with terrace and a vertical garden, a 500 m2 panoramic terrace with swimming pool, solarium and pool bar, a fully equipped gym with a steam room, sauna and bi-thermal shower, as well as event and conference rooms.

Pegasus Solutions is providing Hotel SB Plaza Europa with affordable connectivity to the

GDS under the widely used and recognized UI chain code. Additionally, Pegasus will deliver sales support by targeting sources of managed travel business from corporate buyers and travel management companies (TMC) to fill sales gaps for the property.
