HSMAI Reveals 2013 Adrian Awards Competition Gold Winners

After receiving more than 1,200 entries, HSMAI will present Gold Awards to one of thelargest groups of winners in the Awards' history, including 46 awards in Advertising, 87 in Digital Marketing and 130 in Public Relations. Judges of this year's competition noted the prevalence of integrated campaigns with shareable and highly engaging social, digital components. More than 200 subject-matter experts in advertising, digital marketing, media and public relations disciplines, along with prominent members of the travel industry, served as judges.
"The winning work showed that in today's omni-channel world, you have to createinteresting content that can be shared and engaged with," commented Digital Marketing judge, Christian Walzinger, executive creative director of SapientNitro.

"Our judges were highly impressed by many of this year's entrants and made specialnote of the overall trend of fully integrated campaigns that span across multiple channels," said Fran Brasseux, executive vice president of HSMAI. "Marketing campaigns now rarely exist in siloes with the proliferation in the array of channels available. This upsurge has only benefited the industry as a whole and is reflected in the excellent strategy and creativity exhibited by this year's award winners."
At the Adrian Awards Dinner Reception, co-sponsored by HSMAI and Expedia MediaSolutions, winners' submissions will be available for viewing in the "iPad Gold Gallery" at several iPad stations via a searchable, interactive site designed by Sequence. The gallery will be open during the Adrian Awards Dinner Reception and the new, post-event "Continue the Night" reception, sponsored by TripAdvisor.
Winners of the Gold Adrian Awards are now considered for Platinum Adrian Awards andthe "Best of Show" Awards, the Adrian Awards' highest honor. Both Awards will be announced the evening of Feb. 24.
Additionally, top winners in each Adrian Awards category are considered for theTravelClick eMarketer of the Year as well as American Express' Loyalty Marketing Award. Those esteemed winners and this year's winner of HSMAI and National Geographic Traveler's Leader in Sustainable Tourism award will be part of the evening's award ceremony.
