With an increased interest and participation in Hospitality Financial and Technology Professionals' (HFTP)

ProLinks Webinars over the past two years, HFTP has partnered with BlueSky Broadcasting to provide its webinar hosting services. These services allow HFTP to further develop the webinar program and increase opportunities for members outside North America.

The improved services include an increase in maximum attendance capacity from 100 to

500 participants, better broadcasting quality and technical support and a new portal for viewing live and archived sessions. Attendees will also be provided with proof of attendance and certificates for CPE reporting.

In addition, HFTP plans on scheduling the live webinars at a wider range of times to

accommodate members who reside outside of North America.

"We are very excited to work with BlueSky Broadcasting to enhance our webinar

program," said Frank Wolfe, CAE, HFTP CEO. "The webinars are just one of the avenues HFTP provides superior educational opportunities to hospitality finance and technology professionals."

The first webinar to use the new hosting service takes place at 2:00 p.m. CST on

Thursday, February 20. The session entitled, "Gray to Black: Economics of Golf Course Maintenance 2.0," will be presented by Mike Stevens, GCSAA, regional director of Agronomy - Southeast and Bryan Stromme, GCSAA, regional director of Agronomy - Midwest, Billy Casper Golf.

Advance registration is available on the HFTP web site.

ProLinks webinars are a free service to HFTP members; nonmembers are charged a $50 registration fee.

To support the improved webinar service, the HFTP Global office has enlisted the expert

assistance of the ProLinks Webinar Advisory Council, a group of HFTP member volunteers who work as professionals in the hospitality industry. The council will advise the HFTP Global staff on developing a current, quality online education program that is relevant to all HFTP members.

Topic or speaker suggestions should be sent to Celina Mendieta, HFTP

meetings and events manager or Caleb Williams, HFTP chapter relations marketing coordinator. Suggestions may also be submitted to [email protected].
