Archipelago On Track To Grow To 100 Hotels By The End Of 2014
On March 19th, during the illustrious annual "Aston Fair Trade Show", a tourism industry business to business event that brings together hundreds of representatives of Jakarta's Travel Trade Industry, Media Communities and Archipelago Hotels from far and beyond Indonesia and Malaysia Archipelago International, the maverick Indonesian Hotel operator with Hawaiian roots, took the opportunity to announce the group's future development plans.
The new hotels will be a mix of 5-star Grand Astons, 4-star Astons and 3-star Aston City and Quest Hotels as well as several select service favehotels and trendy boutique budget NEO hotels located in Jakarta, Bandung, Surabaya, Madiun, Bojonegoro, Solo, Malang, Yogyakarta, Bali, Balikpapan, Banjarmasin, Lombok, Kupang and Penang, Malaysia.
Furthermore and following last year's launch of "The Alana" and "HARPER Hotel", Aston Fair spectators also received insight into the pipeline of these two new hotel labels and exciting developments in Jakarta, Makassar, Bandung, Bogor, Jogjakarta and Samarinda.
The Alana is Archipelago's latest upscale designer lifestyle hotel label. Alana, which in Hawaiian means "precious", aims to be truthful to this name, offering high end lifestyle boutique hotels that are sophisticated yet friendly and welcoming. Alana Hotels cater to travellers who appreciate style, personalized service and a stimulating environment. The first property to open was The Alana Surabaya, while further Alanas are set to open in Yogyakarta, Solo and Sentul.
Meanwhile, Hotel HARPER which represents 3-star plus to 4-star newly built mid seized hotels that follow a very unique rustic-modern interior design concept and feature brand specific facilities such as the signature "Rustik Bistro & Bar" concept, celebrated the opening of its first hotel, The HARPER Kuta, and announced 8 more properties throughout Indonesia with the next one due to open early this summer in central Yogyakarta.
