SPOKANE, Wash. – Red Lion Hotels Corporation (NYSE:RLH) has earned a 2014 Visionary Award

from Hospitality Technology (HT) magazine for its complete rewrite of all public-facing technologies in the consumer website. The award was presented by HT magazine's editor-in-chief, Abigail Lorden, at the 10th annual Hotel Technology Forum.

"Our website is our most important communication medium," said David Barbieri, Senior

Vice President and Chief Information Officer for Red Lion Hotels Corporation. "As such, redlion.com needs to continually evolve to provide the experience consumers are seeking. Our website needs to be innovative, enabling a great reservations experience while also integrating our branding and marketing initiatives to support our guest's needs. We have achieved these goals and delivered an exceptional customer experience across all consumer devices using technology innovations including a shopping-cart-based booking engine integrated into a responsive website framework, collectively delivered via a custom content management system."

Barbieri credits the information technology software development

team at Red Lion as the catalyst for the innovation. "Our development team initiated this project with the e-commerce design," said Barbieri, "and our distribution and marketing teams played key roles in executing the project. It was particularly rewarding to see these various disciplines come together to make this project a reality. Congratulations to the entire team for earning this Customer- Facing/In-Room Technology Innovator Visionary Award."
