CLEVELAND -- Further strengthening its "educate, not mandate" philosophy, Vantage Hospitality Group has launched the Think Tank Thursday webinar for its Americas Best Value Inn®, Canadas Best Value Inn® and Lexington® by Vantage members.

Think Tank Thursday is held the second Thursday of each month for all Vantage brand hotel owners and their staff. In each live, interactive webinar, Vantage Academy hosts and delivers timely, practical information from invited industry experts on issues that directly affect members' bottom line.

The first Think Tank, which aired in April, focused on prospecting for business in your backyard, while this month's topic is managing rate parity issues. Upcoming webinars will delve into revenue and reputation management, guest services, ADA updates, OTAs, daily operations, sales and marketing, budgeting and P&L processes. Links to each webinar are also available online so members can catch up with ones they missed and share the training with staff at any time.

Vantage Academy, which began its seventh season this month, takes a grassroots approach to education by providing members with free training at convenient locations throughout North America. The curriculum is designed by member feedback and adapted to changing economic times and industry trends, and offers strategies designed to positively impact members' R.O.I. Participants who complete the one-day course leave with a clearer understanding of how to generate more revenue by applying more effective and innovative sales and marketing strategies, win over guests through more effective communication, improve their property's curb appeal, work effectively with online travel agents, and utilize the AH&LA's Educational Institute.
