With hotels competing to offer ever-hipper incentives to attract guests and encourage loyalty, bikes are becoming a hot perk. Hotels as far-flung as Sofitel So Bangkok and Hotel Grand Pacific in Victoria, British Columbia, are peddling free bikes. A pilot program in Kimpton's Cambridge, Mass., hotel a couple of years ago went so well that all 61 of the boutique chain's properties nationwide now offer bikes.
