SAHIC Announces Eric Danziger as Inspirational Leadership Keynote Speaker at September Conference in Quito, Ecuador

Investment & Tourism Conference 2014 (www.sahic.com) to be held at the JW Marriott Hotel in Quito, Ecuador September 15-16, 2014, has confirmed that Eric Danziger will be featured as the Conference's first "Inspirational Industry Icon" keynote speaker.

Before an audience of hospitality executives and investors in South America, Danziger

will speak about his experience in the industry, his vision on the development of the region, and his perspectives about challenges in the continent.

It was only a few days after receiving his "One Million Miles Traveled" plaque from

United Airlines that Danziger, 42 years into his career in hospitality, made an important change in his professional path, towards a preferred work-life balance.

Until March 2014, Danziger was responsible for the operation, growth, performance and

strategic direction of Wyndham Hotel Group, the world's largest hotel company, with approximately 7,190 hotels and 611,200 rooms in 65 countries around the globe. A lodging industry veteran, he joined the company in late 2008 after serving in executive leadership roles for some of the world's most well known hospitality companies including Carlson Hotels Worldwide, Starwood Hotels & Resorts Worldwide, Double Tree Hotels and the former Wyndham International. He is currently President & CEO of Hampshire Hotels Management, LLC, a full service hotel, management and asset management group as well as banded lifestyle authority.

Danziger, who is a 2011 UJA-Federation of New York honoree, has been the recipient of

numerous industry awards and honors, including the 2005 Northern California Ernst and Young Entrepreneur of the Year award in the category of real estate, hospitality and construction.

He is a member of the prestigious Industry Real Estate Finance Advisory Council

(IREFAC), Urban Land Institute, and the American Hotel & Lodging Association's Educational Foundation Board of Trustees.
